What is this Blog About?

I teach a class on Walt Disney. Yep. Some of you are thinking, "lucky you - how fantastic!" others are thinking "aren't their more important things to teach?" and some wonder what in the heck I cover in just 10 weeks... well, a lot and just the tip of the iceberg.

My class is VERY straight forward. I'm about facts. I'm about putting the information out there and letting people draw their own conclusions.

Disney (and all the kid-centric big companies) is always a topic of discussion with my friends with kids. We all want to be the perfect parents - can we achieve that by letting our kids where Ariel dresses and drink their milk out of a Cars2 sippy?

I have learned that people love Disney, love to hate Disney, or have a love/hate relationship with Disney.

I mentioned to a friend, that not a day goes buy when I don't see a Disney product, see a Disney character on some type of item or hear someone mention a film, the park or a character.

So I am going to Blog for 365 days about everything I overhear and/or see.

I will not count anything in my home (yes there are Disney items here - I teach a class!), or the homes of my friends (we all have kids, so everyone has stuff given to them by a well meaning relative of course).

I will not instigate the conversation.

I live in an incredibly liberal town. A town where people hate branding and detest big corporations. This should be fun!
